The Samsung Galaxy S3 offer, available through Carphone Warehouse's subsidiary Mobiles.co.uk, comes with a rather decent 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data allowance (note T-Mobile also provides with a Text Basic and Text Extra package which provides with 600 minutes and 250MB data or 100 minutes and 1.5GB worth of data for the same price.
In contrast, the Vodafone offer only offered 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB of mobile data with 2GB BT Openzone allowance). With a total cost of ownership of £624, the deal is a good one given that the device costs nearly £500 SIM free.
The Galaxy S3 was unveiled earlier this month in Earls Court, London and comes with a quad core Exynos 4412 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 50GB Dropbox-powered cloud storage, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.8in Super AMOLED display with a 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, an 8-megapixel camera and a number of unique features like the S Voice or the phone's ability to track the user's eye motion.

Description
The project will create a state-of-the-art 3G sports pitch as well as new classrooms.
When the work is complete the 1,200 pupils in the north and south sites will be brought together by September 2013.
Diggers are shifting thousands of tonnes of earth to make way for the building and headteacher Douglas Blackledge has spoken of his excitement as the work progresses.
He said: “That’s the most exciting fence I’ve ever seen. The first real completion is looking to be September and that will be our 3G pitch.
“There has been some loss of green space with the start of the build, but in the end we’ll get back lots more than we lose.”
Mr Blackledge described an ‘incredible’ excitement around the project.
One pupil has already voiced their disappointment they will only be able to enjoy the new build for 12 months before leaving the school.
The school plans to install a webcam to keep the community up to date with the building process.
Helen Walker, the school’s project manager, said: “We should be getting a webcam set up streaming over the coming months.
“It’s to engage the community and also students at the north site, so they can see what’s going on day-to-day.”
A laminated timber frame is under construction in Austria and will be delivered to the site later in the year.
The school will also create what is effectively a 3D cinema to build on the existing 3D classroom at the school.
Mr Blackledge said: “When we go home for the summer, people will go home with the perspective the field is rather flat.
“When they come back in September there should be some form of building up.’’
Building should be completed by mid-August 2013, for occupancy in the new term in September 2013.
A series of public meetings to keep the community around the academy south site up to date with the construction process.
The first meeting is due to take place later in the summer.

Have your say
"There has been some loss of green space with the start of the build, but in the end weâll get back lots more than we lose."
That's clever, Mr Blackledge. Have you some means of knitting greenfield sites out of thin air? And, incidentally, what kind of thoughtless builders decide to remove large numbers of mature trees and bushes at the time of year when birds are nesting? It is an offence under the Wildlife & Countryside Act (1981) to damage or destroy a nest while it is being built or is in use.
Nice! I really enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
