
Vodafone Iceland Deploys FTS End-to-End Billing Solution

Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S3 launch event live stream times - Phones Review
Excitement about the latest Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy S3 (S III) is almost at fever pitch now and yesterday we told about the launch in 28 countries with more on the way. If you’re in Australia there’s good news for you as Vodafone will be live streaming the Galaxy S3 launch event and we have the times for you, wherever you are in the world.
The Galaxy S3 is set to be a phenomenal hit with pre-orders through the roof. However we recently told of possible release delays in some areas because of shortages of the blue color option with some customers being told they wouldn’t get theirs for the release date. Whether this issue will also hit the Australian launch is not known yet but we do know that the launch event in the country is taking place on Thursday May 31 (tomorrow).
News of Vodafone Australia live streaming the event, being held in Sydney comes to us from Android Central, sourced from AusDroid. If you can’t be there in person then, you can at least join in with the launch excitement with the live stream online. You’ll need to head to the Vodafone Australia website for the event that starts at 09:50 Sydney time. Vodafone Foundation opens Smart Accessibility Awards 2012 - Mobile Entertainment
Second outing for the €200k prize that rewards makers of apps for older people and those with disabilities.
The Smart Accessibility Awards are part of the Vodafone Foundation’s ‘Mobile for Good’ programme to drive positive social change through mobile. They are co-organised by AGE Platform Europe and the European Disability Forum (EDF).
This year there will be prizes in four areas:
* Social participation
* Independent living
* Mobility
* Wellbeing
Entrants will compete for a share of a €200k prize fund. The competition is open from 30th May 2012 to 15th October 2012.
Qualifying entries will be evaluated in November and the four overall winners will be chosen in a final event that will take place in December in Spain.

Andrew Dunnett, director of the Vodafone Foundation, said, ‘Smartphones are transforming how millions of people manage their daily lives, but some groups in society are at risk of missing out on the revolution.
"The Smart Accessibility Awards is one of many Vodafone Foundation programmes around the world which are tackling the diverse barriers to a fully accessible mobile internet.’
In 2011 over 60 apps were received and more than 100 people participated in the awards.
